Dinner at Samarkand

I've been fortunate this past week to tag along with Boss Lady (Nikki) at many of her company's team building dinners.  I've really tried to open up (thanks Erica) and try different dishes.  Friday we went to an Indian restaurant called Samarkand.  I tasted several Indian dishes, some spicy, some, not so spicy and had a really great time with the team.  The only beef I had was that I ordered a strawberry margarita and it came in a glass about half the size of a martini glass. And yes, the price was $10!  Luckily, someone else picked up the bill.  However, this is the second cocktail drink that I tried to purchase that was disappointing.  So, I guess I'll refrain from purchasing alcoholic beverages while I'm out.  Check out the slide show!
